Arduino I/O: Find the Light

For my first project coding on the Arduino, I wanted to mimic a radio — the experience of finding the correct frequency for a channel. With a set of LED lights, I envisioned the lights flickering as I turn the knob on the potentiometer until finding the sweet spot where one of the lights would stay on.

I planned out a breadboard set up as shown below and put it together. During this process of playing around with the Arduino, I learned a valuable lesson: always unplug from the computer when breadboarding, and always be conscientious! My Arduino stopped working while I fiddled carelessly, and I had to get a new one.
